What Are Events Are All About...
Mini-Golf is an annual event we hold that the Art III & IV Classes participate in by partnering up to building the 18 hole course. Art Club members do the entire set-up and breakdown of the course as well as ticket sales and concessions. . . without them it would be impossible. Each year the theme is different and in years past we have done everything from TV shows & music groups to the zoo. This year's theme is a "Video Gaming" Mini-Golf. Our sponsorships provide us funds for the materials each year to make this event happen.
"Golfing Through the Zoo"
The Minstrels Show is an annual fundraiser with multiple show nights at the High School and is put on by a group of community members. Over the years the Minstrels have donated over $250,000 to our district, supporting our sports, music and art programs. For the last 5 years the BHHS Art Club has been designing the set for the Minstrels and looks forward to working with them again this year. This year's theme is "Swingin Safari".

Feed A Starving Artist is an annual art show & sale along with an apple dumpling, soup & pottery sale by the BHHS Art Club. We invite artists and craftsman who have some kind of tie to Brandywine so our students can see the talent that exists right around them. Art students create sand-blasted glass and pottery to sell and their is also live entertainment by Brandywine staff and students. Last year we had a total of 40 artists showing. If interested in showing this year contact Suzanne Oswald. We challenge the artists showing/selling to come up with a craft or interactive art experience for the community to experience.  Admission is FREE!

The Fashion Show is an annual spring event that involves Art III & IV students creating a piece of wearable fashion based on the show's theme, limiting them to the use of non-traditional materials to make their piece. In year's past students from Art Club will also model local stores and design the set design for the show. Themes in the past have included Dr. Seuss inspired outfits that had to make a noise, "Fashion Goes Green" where all fashion was made out of recycled materials, The "Dine & Design: The Hess's Experience," "Brandywine Goes GAGA," and last year's successful "Fashion Under the Big Top" featuring clothes inspired by the Circus.  This year's show will be in a new location... We are excited for you to see Schaeffer Auditorium at Kutztown University transformed into the Land of Oz...    Tickets will be available for pre-sale and also sold at the door.  Please contact Sue Oswald for tickets.

The Berks County I.U. Show is an Art Show held every year that displays the talent in art throughout all Berks County High Schools. There are numerous categories the students compete in and awards, monetary awards and scholarships are awarded. For the last several years the I.U. Show has been held at GoggleWorks in Reading, Pennsylvania and will be held there this spring as well. The level of skill displayed is beyond high school talent. The Awards Ceremony is held on Sunday April ??th at 1:00pm.

The Senior Art Show is a display each Art IV student displays in May representing their work in the past 4 years. Students prepare their own display board and selectively choose the pieces they feel best represent them. Located in the Brandywine Heights H.S. Cafeteria, It is a fun night for all and light refreshments are served. The Show date will be announced.
